I installed Drupal 7.28 in Godaddy's cPanel and I cannot import any backed up site files from my test site into the new website.
I am using Backup and Migrate to restore a backup copy. After the restore, Drupal displays it was successful and the files were uploaded, but the website does not show any of the imported content.
- I checked the database and it shows the uploaded files.
- I am able to add new content so I know the site works but not for imports.
I have talked with the Godaddy techs who were very helpful but it appears they don't have an answer.
I was wondering if there is a drupal official blog site much like wordpress has their blog site. Or is drupal most of a content management program for web hosting?
I want to restore website, including database from files on hard disk after installing new windows. I have all files, without database backup. I ONLY have files, websites files and database files.
When I copy file folders and database files after installing Apache, php, mySQL, MyphpAdmin, then typing the localhost/websiteaddress, it force me to resintall completely website.
The other new websites I install work correctly on new localhost.
I have a question on moving my domain from my current host Telus, to Godaddy. The reason for the move is that I have a sandbox site on godaddy hosting that will turn into my production site once I transfer the domain from Telus to Godaddy.
