I've been thinking about switching hosts... currently using siteground... and didn't want to make too many jumps. Anyhow, I was considering Cartika, because they seem to have a good rep on WHT and they don't seem to have the CPU / RAM caps that the other web hosts seem to.
I was looking into using Drupal as the base to my service I would like to build before I do this basicly it would be a module and I would host the service on my own box and it would be controled by my service only. Would I have to release the module to the public under the GPL? How can one make a viable business model without giving away all the answers to the business??
Thanks

Hello all,
I am currently developing a site in Drupal 4.7 that I will need hosted somewhere. I currently use SimpleHost but they are not good at all because their customer support is non-existent. (SimpleHost = DO NOT USE)
I do like simple host for thier reported unlimited storage capacity and that is something that I want in my next hosting provider. I also need (hopefully) a great deal of bandwidth, access to a very full range of acceptable functionality - including chatrooms <--(Not allowed in simplehost), blogs, buddylists, etc...
I was wondering how many people are looking at basing business models on drupal hosting and what type of success has been seen this far? Is most of the business customization work with a side flavor of hosting, or are you just setting up default drupal installations and letting people select their own themes and modules?
