dreamhost is down one more time... NOW

althought the package is very attractive, but downtime are too often..

damn it, it's down again..

I know there are a lot of posts by disgruntled customers. But this is for those silent folks who are happy running drupal with thier providers.

I'd like to know who is your host and how long you've been with them. And if possible how much traffic does your site take. And any additional info you are willing to post (like the version, site link :) )

I have Drupal 4.7 on Site5 hosting. I didn't make any changes to the site but it started showing blank pages. None of the pages of the site can be viewed, except /robots.txt and /sitemap.xml (generated by gsitemap module with a URL alias). The pages are completely blank with no HTML sent to the browser.

Response headers: 200 Ok

I have a few small sites on a dedicated server and am now running 5 other sites using Drupal. The server is totally underused and should be working harder for the money it costs.

I am considering sharing my dedicated server for others who need simple Drupal sites, with support, but without the concerns of the back end systems and software which I will maintain as I have for many years.

Basically you have a fully running Drupal site for you own use ready out of the box, for just a small fee.

Any comments on this topic would be welcome.

I am looking for a suitable host for my upcoming site. The site will be politically leftist oriented, and I presume many of the members will post content that is politically radical. I need a host that won´t freak out - e.g. if receiving complaints or pressures from governmental or other agencies - but that stays calm and is loyal.

Also, the host should be able to give me an enormous amount of space and well-functioning and flexible MySQL services.

I expect to pay something for the hosting service, and I am ready to pay a lot if necessary.
