Siteground - Not sure a good choice

Just a quick observation that I would like you share with other Drupal users that are looking for a Hosting Company to us for there Drupal Hosting.

Drupal advertise Siteground as there choice of hosting provider on this very web site, but having used that now for only a couple of weeks I'm getting very up-happy considering that you have to pay for a years subscription to there service.

drupal value hosting, fake hosting specs, lying to consumers

It is my belief that nothing positive can come from this thread

everyone beware, dpv is very unethical with their business.

drupal value hosting's most expensive plan(super monster plan)is not on 32 gb ram or even on a SAS hard drive as they have promised.

if they make false promise like this from the getgo, imagine what other hidden tricks they might have up their sleeves.

Site5, from First to Worst

I moved my Drupal sites to Site5 about a year ago from Dreamhost. I left Dreamhost because their mysql servers are all remote and the Drupal mysql performance was dismal.

At first, my experiences with Site5 were wonderful. Their mysql performance was head and shoulders above that of Dreamhost. Their technical support personnel were efficient. (if not as friendly as the Dreamhost guys) Uptime was great.

Hosting +Support on upgrades

I am currently hosting on Dedicated server for drupal server. Just moved from shared hosting to dedicated per hosting guys request to copeup with server loads of drupal site. I am just wondering is there any good hosting company not only just hosting but also help in module installation and upgrades.?

Hotdrupal.com

Anyone know anything about this Host .. THe website seems almost too good to be true.

Is StartLogic "slow" ?

I just set up Drupal 6.1 at StartLogic. I am pretty happy with the price, features, and support.

Page loads take forever - is this the server?

I also installed a TON of modules for evaluation, maybe later, etc. - would it help to trim the excess?

I am also suddenly having a weird IE display problem - like there's no styles applied, or something. Looks fine in Firefox.

I had activated the xmlsitemap module just before IE freaked out. I was getting error messages, so I deactivated xmlsitemap.
