We're about to migrate our Drupal sites over to Microsoft Azure's cloud platform. We're quite inexperience with in-depth server management so has anyone got a how to guide to do it? Do we need to set up a deployed platform first and import the website and database, or do we need to set up the database first?
We're still using Drupal 7 and we're comfortable to deploy to either a cloud app or a VM.
Is there an official Drupal 8 NGINX config, or a recommended one? I've found a few examples on the web which do get NGINX working with Drupal 8, but I'd like to know that the various files and folders which shouldn't be publicly accessible are protected (as they would be with the included .htaccess file). Any pointers here would be appreciated.
I have a few things that need fixing and would like to have a few modules added to the site lukesarmy.com Looking for someone who would like to help. The site is in remembrance of my two year old child who died in foster care, and for all the children who are dieing in foster care or wrongly removed from loving parents. I desperately need help as can't afford to spend anymore on the site.
I've been using Liquid Web's "Storm on Demand" server for years now without a problem. However, a client has a server there and they've had nothing but problems then last year or so. They'd like to move to another server. So I'd like some advice on a new server.
We need one where they will fully manage it, but where we also have the ability to go in and do things like update software, install things, etc.
We need one that has CPanel, WHM and PHPMyAdmin.
It needs to be able to run Drupal and CiviCRM well.
