I have made a website for a club (college) using Drupal. We are a nonprofit club so we can't afford to pay too much a year. The website will not see much traffic, maybe 50 to 100 visitors a day. That is being generous.
Right now the site is being hosted by Awardspace for free. Of course free hosting isn't all that great. With just me being on the site it will often times go down and is very slow. I have not finished it all the way so I have yet to see what will happen once club members actually come to the site.
Brand new to Drupal... haven't even started but will be soon. In looking through these topics I'm seeing that not all web hosts support drupal. I have a new client who wants me to take over his site and fix it up, and is already established on a web host. I see that it supports Drupal. It's Powweb. Do you think it's ok to keep them here, or are there other web hosts that would be better, with Drupal?
Thanks for your input...
I have a development version of my drupal site which is hosted on siteground.com using a cPanel. I have several other sites installed on the server so this drupal installation does not sit in the root (it sits on www>drupal1).
I want to move my site to a production environment (also on siteground using cPanel). The production environment will only host this 1 site so this install will sit directly in the root (www).
Please could anyone advise how i go about moving the site.
I'm putting together a new site and cleared off the home page in preparation to bring the various parts back together. When I moved the user login block back into place it would not show. I tried several other regions and nothing works.
I tried a different theme, user login still doesn't show.
I've checked and rechecked the config for user login...

Show on every page except (I have absolutely verified that there are no characters in the Pages: window.)
