Beware of Inmotion, Hosting problems

I have a very simple drupal site with my self as the only user where i post a daily blog with some photos. It has been hosted at Inmotion for a year now and today the locked my site as they said it was using to many resources on their servers.

I cant believe that my simple site, myyosemite.com, with no forum, no users, no store is clogging up their servers. the logs show normal usage. it has become very popular and does get a lot of hits but it is just a blog.

I now have to find another host and move my site.

So beware of Inmotion !!!!!!!!

Flexible but reliable Drupal hosting?

I'm currently working on developing a website using drupal, which I'm hosting on a shared server which I have access to. In the long run this server won't be appropriate to host the website, so I am looking at other options. The dilemma comes from this: I want the flexibility of being able to customise my drupal install (more than just installing modules - maybe editing some core files) but without the hassle of having to maintain the server (Apache, MySQL etc).

Which is the best host of the following?

I have shortlisted the following hosting providers on the basis of my requirements:

Requirements:
~5$/mo
Unlimited bandwidth
Unlimited storage
Unlimited domains
Unlimited subdomains

The same site with different domains

I have a website and I'm trying to accociate my site with a bigger portal...
They want me to change my url from www.mysite.com to www.mysite.portal.com

but i dont wanna lose my url cause google finds me with it.
it would be the same site but been accessed by different urls.

would it be possible altering .htacsess or only configuring apache?

how to I move images when moving site?

I have a site, chattanoogaboats.com that I am changing from a 1and1 host to hotdrupal (no offense to other hosting services, they were recommended to me). 1and1 kept giving me memory errors. So long to them.

Anyway, I have done a fresh install, moved all the module folders over, and backed up the source database and restored it to the new (under temporary name) site.

I thought I copied all of the folders over, but my images aren't showing up. Any suggestions what to try?

Problem with uploading files by attachment of a template

I am trying to upload a files thru drupal (attachment of a template) and got the following error from the provider:

Premature end of script headers: /home/ciqs/public_html/index.php
In this case, a client from the IP address 17.18.9.20 was trying to access /home/username/public_html/images/imagename.gif which is an image file that does not exist. While this does not give you a specific way to see how the client got to imagename.gif, it can be very helpful in catching spelling errors in your links to pages and images.
