Hostpapa won't allow anymore than 30M memory limit

I'm using Hostpapa.ca for my hosting, and unfortunately they don't allow anymore than 32M memory_limit. Is there any work around that I can use? I'm trying to use the ImageCache, and ImageAPI modules, but I keep getting the same "Fatal Error" display.

If anyone has found a away to use these modules, with a 32M limit

OR

If anyone has found a way to change their limit while using Hostpapa.

Please let me know

Thanks

Nick

Help After Moving My Site -

I was having lots of problems with load time (greater than 2 min or not loading at all) so I changed my host to AN Host.

I own the .net and .com so I set up the site under the .net and left the .com until I got the site moved and working.

My process: download the entire site from the .com, then ftp the download to the .net. Then I exported the database from the .com and imported to the .net database.

The .net site doesn't work. The home page comes up, but all of the linked pages are missing and give 404 errors.

I got the following reply from Midphase support:

I am seeing the following error message when I try to visit any of the links on your site.

The requested URL /node/11/cid/16 was not found on this server.

Apache is throwing this error: File does not exist: /home/wikicha6/public_html/node, referer: http://wikicharlotte.net/. It seems to me that you either need to upload the files that are missing, or add a .htaccess file to create rewrite rules for these links. I guess it could also be some conflicting entries in your MySQL database. Unfortunately it is nearly impossible to say. I would recommend you contact Drupal support to see if they can point you in the right direction of a fix for this. Let us know if you have other questions.

Would appreciate help on getting my site up and running on the new host.

Help me find this hosted drupal company

Hello, internet hivemind.

Yesterday, I stumbled across a business that offers (by my vague recollection) a number of different turnkey Drupal solutions. There was a basic business site (~$2500), e-commerce site (maybe), a newspaper site (~$7500), and... something else (?).

I don't remember what their name is, or even where the heck I came across them. Does this sound familiar to anybody?

SiteGround - Cancellation Failed, Refund Refused

I setup an account at SiteGround to try out Drupal for a client. I signed up for a monthly account, with the intention of cancelling at the end of the period. I cancelled through the control panel on 8/6/2009, but their system neglected to send me the email requiring me to confirm. When I logged in - the cancellation portion stated a cancellation was pending. I emailed them on the renewal date after my card was charged to alert them to the issue. They refused to refund the full amount, they have a $24.95 cancellation charge + a partial month charge - we are talking hours at the most.

Linode vs. Slicehost

I recently migrated from Dreamhost (shared hosting account) to Slicehost and I must say that I've been impressed with Slicehost so far. I got everything up and running, and although I came from shared hosting with a control panel, using the command line hasn't been as tricky as I thought it'd be.
