We are a small dutch company and we would like to use Drupal for our (small) customers websites. Therefor we are looking for a relayible hosting company which also watches and install important security patches.
I am unable to log into drupal using the administrative username/password given to me by the person who set up my website. I am currently trying to move my site over to another host but the new hosting people had this to say reguarding a module that was added:
I have a website hosted at Godaddy.com.
I added a second domain to the main domain and installed drupal. Essentially, I am running this website out of a folder on my main site. I am now having problems with the second site.
I am still new to Drupal, and loving what Drupal can do. I made a drupal site on my localhost and then brought webhosting on HostMonster. First I had to have one of their techs upload the database for the site. That went well. Today I added the sites files and everything went well, until I got to my home page and tried to log in as admin. I got this message:
Yes I did the page :-)
Drupal rules.
But i did it on my localhost with mode rewrite set and clean urls.
Now I move it online and is not working... I have totaly no idea how to set clean urls on using .htacces.
Is there a realy easy example to to set clean urls in general not only on my own computer-localhost?
