Hosting support

Hi there, this is my first post and I have been through the other posts regarding blank screen of death. However, I'm just starting with this post to ensure that I've gone through the first initial elimination processes which sometimes could possibly be really simple ones, the problem is that I can't see it but maybe someone out there can spot it out immediately.

Could somebody advise which hosting is better for Drupal, FatCow or Hostgator?

I'm new in Drupal and I have a question for you who are a lot more experienced than me. Pardon my english I am from Sweden...
I have build one site which are installed and up and running at a web hotel using a domain "example.se". I have also build a site (an intranet) which I would like to put at "intranet.example.se". The thing is that these two sites are completely different from each other and uses two different themes, databases and drupal installs.

I'm using Dreamhost because I've had an account there since before I heard about Drupal. I've got a small site for friends and I'd like to be able to upload videos, however, when I do my fastcgi processes get terminated. I'm using a custom PHP.ini and I've set it to allow 25mb uploads. But a 20mb video file will not upload, the thread gets killed before the upload is finished. I did not change the memory usage and the other modifications I've made to the PHP.ini are not relevant.

image if you will that a hosting service puts an advertisement in each and every one of your files. you'd be pee'd i'm sure. well godaddy changes the modify date of every file you upload which makes file synchronization and configuration management impossible. this of course also changes ever so slightly the file size. you can't compare files by timestamp or filesize.

i was told it's an immutable policy.

Ok I am just very new with all these and try to start with drupal, which I found
veeerrryyyyy nice and easy.
So I make my websites using html css and flash, thought it was fine, then someone told me to use drupal
and that it was fast and easy, ok it is and also must say I am alreaddy a fan....
To the point now, I am having 4 websites made silmply html css and flash so drupal was too wow for me
to handle it and learn how to use it. Anyway these are some questions that I have:
I am making my first site by export drupal inside my httpdocks which are inside apache,
ok and its finished very well and fast, now Iwant to make my second site...mmmm....Do I have to export again
the same file inside my httpdocs and just rename it or I must use the folder site\all as I read somewhere
in this forum? And which way is better?
Ok after all when I am going to upload my site which files do I have to upload for any site?
using parallels buisiness automation I've got 4 domains that they have this directory and inside my httpdocs
I must have an index.html bt now it is complicated cause I must learn php to do it
