Embedded Media Field error

Embedded Media Field a field to set up working perfectly content type on the localhost
It's just that the ISP's server I can not get it working.

SYMPTOMS:
I am trying to add content of type "Video". I enter the title and the URL, but when I click "Save" I get redirected to a "Page not found" page.
I've tried to embed both Youtube and Dailymotion videos, using both the urls and their embed code. The problem persists.

Once you remove the embed url in the node beautifully saved.
Any ideas?

VPS.net experiences?

Hey guys,

I'm currently running Wordpress on Mediatemple, but I'm getting ready for a big redesign that runs on Drupal 7.

I was wondering if any of you guys use VPS.net?

If so, how's the service? I read about major downtime last week?

Also, how much tweaking is involved? I don't mind setting things up, but I don't want to spend hours configuring my server every week.. Will cPanel do in general?

Images don't upload to correct destination on live sites, so requires a whole re-build! Becoming quite a problem.

Hope someone can help, we've been through a number of solutions now, perhaps we're missing something.

When we upload our sites to web hosts our images in galleries don't upload to the same/relative destination on live sites as they are configured on the localhost version, so it requires a whole re-build!

Cannot remove previewdns from node url

I have a client who has setup her account with Godaddy and had the hosting done by another company. They recently hired me to build them a new website using the same URL but wanted it published after their contract was up with the previous web developer. I used Godaddy's preview dns option to build the website so as not to break the connection until we were ready to publish the new site. We published the site but are still getting a number of the nodes with the previewdns in the URL.

transferring to Linode - advice for new user?

I have been using Drupal for a few months.

Have never worked with a server before but for $20 a month Linode seems to offer what might cost $100 at a traditional host.

Any all around tutorials on transferring a site from a shared host to Linode?

With my current shared host I simply use cpanel to backup and restore.

It is so easy to transfer a drupal site through cpanel, wondering if it can be similarly easy with Linode. Have never used command line until now.
