How to enable subfolders under Drupal Project

Hello friends,
I have a project working under abcd.com and this is under drupal 6.x. I want to run a folder named "test/" under the abcd.com.
Like example: abcd.com/test/
This test/ folder will contain some codes working under different project in php.

I have created the folder, but drupal is showing "page not found error" for the URL abcd.com/test/

How to set this environment. Please suggest me. This is urgent ..

Thank you in advance.

Webform Mail Configuration at 1&1

Hi,
I am using Drupal on a dedicated MANAGED server at 1&1 (germany) and I am having trouble with the webform mailer. It simply doesn't send any mails. It would be very great if someone could give me a hint.

I have tried using the SMTP module, but it requires PHP MAILER installed at appache. Because I use the managed server, I am not able to install anything to appache.

Any non-drupal-websites on my server are able to send mailforms via php.

Thanx for any help!

Uploading Modules

I'm trying to upload modules to my localhost on Wampserver. I'm using filezilla which is asking for a host name. I don't have a dot com. This is on my computer. Any suggestions on what I need to put in this box.

Drupal 7 free hosting ?

Hello everyone.

I am seeking a free hosting service that is capable of hosting drupal 7 (other than Drupalgardens), a reliable, well featured one, if any !
Many of the free hosting services i found are unable to host drupal 7, either for its older php version or for PDO being disabled on it.

Any suggestions ?

Thank you.

Dedicated server technical requirements for high usage Drupal sites

I'm posting this simply to see if anyone has any advice with regards to the technical requirements I would need on a dedicated server to run some large Drupal sites. I need to move onto a dedicated platform but am not sure of the requirements I would need. I have lots of development experience but very little experience on the server side so anything is appreciated.

Finding the bottle neck

Hi,

First of all, I'm not a Linux expert but I want to check what is the bottle neck in our environment?

1. OS is CentOS 5.5
2. Apache (PHP is configured as FastCGI)
3. MySQL 5.x
4. Drupal 6.x

Kindly suggest tools that are free, easy to configure and use (GUI based will be preferred) for checking / analyzing everything. Processor / Memory / any server component i.e. Apache/MySQL.

Thanks
