How to activate a new translation?

Hi!

I've just begun to translate the "buddylist" module to brazilian portuguese, but wasn't able to activate my translation.

I have exported the pot file with potx module, done some translations with poEdit, saved the result with the name of pt-br.po, and stored it in my site's modules/buddylist/po directory.

Unfortunately, my translations are not being shown in the site. Have I missed something?

Regards,
Carlos.

Help with Dupal site translation

Hello,

I discovered Drupal for my-self not so long time ago. It works fine on my www.boradesign.net site. Now I would like to translate my site into Russian language. When I tried to make a new menu item called "Русский" (Russian) - I've got "???????" (question marks) instead of "Russian" on Russian language after saving. Codepage on db and for pages is utf-8, also I've tried win-1251 for db and pages, but it still does not work. And I see utf-8 on THIS site works great for Russian language. How?

Critical: Robots.txt On Multi Language Drupal CMS!!

This really needed fixing and attention! Your original robots.txt file with drupal shields certain paths from search engines such as /admin, etc. BUT if you installed a multi lingo system in your drupal CMS, then all paths are starting with /en /es fr!!! This cases the robot being able to enter those forbitten paths and even DIRECTORIES such as files since in multi-lingo the file path is also /fr/files/images/ etc

The translation module programmers should add automatic adaption of the robots file... Yet for one of my sites it is already too late :( These paths are all now googled .... grgrgr!

How to fix it Manually:

Well, copy all the sections but the files section like cron.php (domain/en/cron.php does not work nor exists, that is why..) to duplicate for each added language

Node with NO "/" at the end since it is the node and not the /node/2 path as /node/ would block to much!

CA is for catalan: Check /ca to be with clean urls and with the unclean url /?q=ca/ instead

Disallow: /ca/database/
Disallow: /ca/includes/
Disallow: /ca/misc/
Disallow: /ca/modules/
Disallow: /ca/sites/
Disallow: /ca/themes/
Disallow: /ca/scripts/
Disallow: /ca/updates/
Disallow: /ca/profiles/
Disallow: /ca/files/
Disallow: /ca/node

# Paths (clean URLs) CA
Disallow: /ca/admin/
Disallow: /ca/aggregator/
Disallow: /ca/comment/reply/
Disallow: /ca/contact/

Want urdu language

Hi
i am use drupal5.1 and i want add urdu language in drupal interface(Translate in urdu). how i can found urdu modules.

Only translate terms visible to end users, not admins

Is it possible to separate which strings that are visible to all users, and which strings that are only visible to drupal administrators?

Only a few % of the strings in my language used by drupal has currently been localized. To speed up work, we want to translate strings visible to normal users first, and then translate strings only visible to admins (our admins may read English as well, so translation of the administration interface is not important.)

How can I do this?
