Translations

Hi everyone at drupal, i am a new drupal 6.3 user and i discovered it through a friend of mine who is a web designer.

I succeeded to set up a drupal test site after 2 weeks of struggle.I am using a wamp configuration on windows XP SP2.

At my work place, they have given me the assignement to provide a french version of the organization's website which was created using drupal.In fact i have to provide a link(french flag) in the home page where users can select to view the website in french.I am sure you know what i'm talking about.

Can anybody help me in this issue :

I use l10n and I translate every field except #default_value.
For exemple, with simplenews module I can't translate "Stay informed on our latest news!"
Or in search module, I can't translate "Search"

It's just my hook_form_alter to use js.

I have a English/Persian site very near to completion using Drupal 5.7 , Tendu theme and il8ion. Everthing has gone pretty smoothly although i am losing the will with the last gremlin .....

I have set up a taxonomy term for "page locations" for users to stipulate which node their created content should be sent to in the primary menu. This works fine in the English (default) site.

However, in the Persian site i cannot get the pages to link to the menu although when i check the page links in categories>page locations , the content shows up perfectly.

I have triple checked the spelling of the Farsi and i know the rest of the URL is correct.

The only thing i have spotted is in the URL string the several minuses in one string are plusses in the other.

my menus translate, but when I use the nice_menus module, they only show in the default language, English. How ever, I need my menus to be in both english and french.

Hi all,

I'm moving our site from Wordpress to Drupal and I love it. I've set up a multi language site with i18n and everything works perfectly - except the Content management page.

On Content management page, I only get content in English and there is no setting to change language to view content in other languages:

"Show only items where

* language is English"

I've tried going from /admin/content/node to /sl/admin/content/node (my other language localization), but it didn't work.

What's the problem?
