Incorrect language set to string when english is not the default language.

I have Drupal 6 with Spanish set as default language since the beginning of the project.

As I didn't know Drupal had some problems with translations, I started creating everything (node types, taxonomies, etc) in spanish. But now, I have to edit some of those things (not all of them) cause when I go to the translate interface and search for a term that is in spanish, Drupal only gives me the chance to translate it to spanish, and not to english. It's like Drupal believes that term is in English.

Well, I created a content type with the title "Información laboral" (which means Job Information). That term is well recognize by Drupal, and lets me translate it to English as Job Information. It's all ok. That content type is a "profile content".

The profile content types, add a block of information in the profile page with an autogenerated title based on the original content type title. The problem is that the term sent to translation for this autogenerated title is considered by Drupal to be in English and only lets me translate it to spanish, when the original text is already in spanish. If I place an english term, when it's asking for an spanish one, when i go to the profile page, that title is always "Información Laboral" (in english or spanish page).

problem while changing langugae when using additional parameters as view arguments

Hi

I am adding node ids in request parameters and using those as argument in my view. Up to this point all is working fine, however when I change the site language the node ids in the request remains for that of previous language. Is there any way out that the additional parameters change as per the translation.

Thanks in advance

IE won't allow a language switch...

I've pretty much got a site ready to launch except I've run across a problem. I have the latest versions of firefox and internet explorer. When I view my site in firefox, everything is perfect. when I view the site in internet explorer, it won't allow me to switch the site language. I pretty much only have dummy text for now but, that's not the issue. If the path is set to the root of the site, it shows the czech text, when it should be english. If the path is set to the czech part, it still shows czech. It behaves properly in firefox though. Any idea what this could be?

Languages

Hi,

I have a question. I just implemented French, Spanish, German, & Italian translations. I turned them on last night, but they still don't work. On the "Translate Interface" page, it still says:
