I would need to have a Drupal 7.x site in 3 languages (Finnish, Swedish and English), but i do not understand how to create the different languages. Can anyone help me?
I've a website running an english and a german version.
At the moment all multilingual content has a link to switch to the related content in the second language on the bottom.
Can I disable this link by a configuration setting? Currently I use CSS injection which is not really smart solution.
I need to send email notifications like the following: $subject = $username . " commented on your " . $type; whereas $type is the content type, e. g. "blog", "gallery", etc.
Now I would like to send translated emails depending on the user's preferred language. So I also need to translate the $type, of course, otherwise I would get a mixed-language subject line. So my first idea was to use:
so now if I go to translate interface and try to search for My Account I should find it and be able to translate it but that's not the case...
can anyone tell me what's wrong??
Thanks
Hi Guys,
I'm new to the community, and i hope you guys can help me out.
I'm busy on building a Drupal website with a lot of modules. Only in the translation statistics i see that a lot of translations are not completed.
My question: How is the practical use of these modules? I'm scared that users from for example spain run into 50% spanish and 50% english texts. For me the most important is the front end of these modules.
i'm working my way through Pro Drupal Development & have run into a problem
in the book the author demonstrates how to use Locale & the "Translate interface" to change the name of the "Search" tab on the ".../admin/build/translate/search" page. (the "Search" tab as in the "Overview | Search | Import | Export" tabs)
