how does one deal with i18n - in my code i have l(t("See %name friends",array("%name"=>$firstName)) if i change "See" to "Look" then I loose all links to this translation.

On my site I have (en) and (fr) all the templates and code is in english, but when i make even a small change the link is lost.

What is the correct way to manage this?

I'm having a weird problem..

I'm using Drupal 6.17, the Locale module is enabled and Content translation module is disabled.
I do not have the Internationalization module.

I have two enabled languages: English and Portuguese (PT-PT) with Portuguese being the default. Both are there since installation.

Right in front of my eyes I can see at least 5 forum topics about English to Hindi Translations. Information is scattered everywhere, may be someone who fully knows about this process should create a Consolidated thread which everyone could refer.

I am developing multilingual site.currently i m using two languages english and Kannada.

The problem is, search is working fine for english but not for kannada language.

If i search kannada word it display like "Your search yielded no results "
