the site is working good, but does not display Arabic characters correctly

I'm working on the design of a research site using Drupal 6.20 in two language Arabic and English. After I completed the design and construction of the site, and moved it from the my computer and put it on the server, which will serve it, I have a problem that the site is working good, but does not display Arabic characters correctly. note that the server has AppServ2.5.10, and I have WampServer Version 2.0, so how can I know where is the problem? and how to solve it?

Deleting string from translation interface: how to get back?

Hi to all

While I'm translating the built-it interface for a multi-language site, I wrongly delete a string.

Now, when I'm looking for this string ( a t() string inside a module) the search give me no result, and I can't translate it.

How I can integrate it back?

I try with update, refresh translation and so on... but nothing!

Is possible to replace it directly in database?

Thanks!
Bye!

How to customize a frontpage for each language?

Hello!

I am creating a multilingual site and need the help of friends to an issue that has not found the answer. I followed the "Tutorial - Building a multi-language site" and used the first option to translate the menu.

DISCLAIMER: The content provided for the second language, does not meet 100% of the content available to the first language (in the first language I have local content, like articles and news that are not available for the second language).

Thus, only part of the contents of the first language is translated into the second language.

For the creation of the front page for the first language, I created a page (admin/build/pages) and I made available content through views. This page is named "home" and was set to homepage.

For the creation of the front page for the second language, I followed the previous procedure. I created a new page, offering different content (only that which is translated into a second language) and saved with the name and address: language/home.

As the contents of the second language is less than the first language, the columns layout is different between the front pages.

How to display a list of terms only for the current language with a Term View ?

I've created a view displaying a list of terms belonging to a specific vocabulary, enabled the per language term for this vocabulary, so that I could translate for both english and french languages.

My problem is that I can't add a filter to display only terms for the current language. My view is of type "Term" and not "node", so I'm not able to add a node translation filter. The only filters elements available are:

Taxonomy: Term
Taxonomy: Term ID
Taxonomy: Term Node Count
Taxonomy: Vocabulary

How to translate dates setted by Date and Calendar modules?

I created in CCK a field_date field whose type is Date. I use Calendar popup to set the date. Default language is English. Unfortunately, I cannot translate this date in French language. Calendar popup is always displayed in English language and nothing is possible. Even if I write in the text field the date in French language, it is forbidden by the validator.
Does anyone know what happens ? Why the translation is not possible ?
Thanks a lot for your possible help !
