Language switcher for anonymous don't work

Hello. I select "Path prefix with language fallback" in the language configuration page. I activate "Language switcher" block.
And now language switcher works fine for amin (#1), but anonymous users can't switch language. For example, user from UK see uk-version, but can't switch to EN version.

How to call the front page of each language in a multilingual site?

I'm building a multilingual site with Drupal 7 and need to translate a block that appears only on the front page. If <front> is used to refer to the front page in general, how would I refer to the <front> page in different languages? For example - the front page of English (my default), German, or Spanish? I've tried <front>/de for German but it doesn't work... Any ideas?

Translation problem

I have a word in cck image upload field which I can't translate because I do not find that word.

The word is Choose ...

I tried admin/build/translate/search to find every Choose something wrapped in a t() Function

Did not find it

Then I made a string search on ALL files of my installation - 1800 results but nowhere the single word Choose.

It is the choose button for uploads.

I have logic understanding problem, because if a string search does not find it ...

It is also in the user profile where one can upload an avatar

Using the t() function

As the API states, the t() function amongst others should always be used in basic text output, the t() function enabling best language management for translating content. However, it should contain English text. What if my site use English but as a secondary language or even no English at all and I want to translate between other languages?

What is the meaning of Variable(missing) in Multilingual

Hi all,
I am trying to apply internationalization for my site but I got a problem during configuration of Multilingual as the following example :

Requires: Internationalization (disabled), Locale (enabled), Variable (missing)

I don't understand about Variable (missing).
Could you tell me about that & how I can fix this problem ?

Thanks in advance,
