acmConsulting.eu - A portfolio site

So my site has been live for a few weeks now, and i thought it was about time for some peer review.

The site is a showcase of my recent projects and services, all built with Drupal (of course). It uses the standard modules familiar to most of you, CCK, Views and Panels, as well as a few bells and whistles modules like Search404, rounded corners, jquery interface, Google analytics etc.

The only complicated parts were associating page node types with taxonomy listings pages so i can have a easy to edit description with each tax term like here http://www.acmconsulting.eu/technology/Drupal/portfolio/ . I opted for this method as the taxonomy description didn't offer the power/flexibility I wanted, this was done using a bit of a hack with panels, using the arg from the url to search for appropriate page as well as to generate a list of portfolio nodes with that term.
The other fun part was using the carousel function of JQuery interface to add a little something to the preview images e.g http://www.acmconsulting.eu/portfolio/example/sportzutv

The site is built on the zen theme, and happily does not look like "a Drupal site".

I also added a cool little javascript widget which means if your on the site you can chat directly to me, via jabber - so if your on the site, drop me a message.

My new web-oriented business site, comments very welcome!

Hey all,

I've been working on this for a couple of weeks, and here it is: the site where I will offre my services as a web site developper!

This is my first business try-out, I hope this site will attract some customers!

I used cck for the portfolio section, also views and panels for most of the displays. I used thickbox for the site's detail page in the portfolio pages, and most of the rest are core-story types.

Please tell me what you think, does it look 'pro' for a web developper's site?

Thanks,
Patchak

di Stefano Landscaping

Hey folks - I just released a new drupal site for di Stefano Landscaping. It is not a terribly complex site, but I needed the ability for the owner to be able to add content, and post news, specials, etc.

There are still a few updates I will make in the future, particularly integrating Views and CCK once they have official releases for 6.x. I took of advantage of the built in jQuery support and integrated Gian Carlo Mingati's slideViewer 1.1

Monarch Digital - Multimedia Company

Monarch Digital

After hours and hours of design time, followed by countless days of development, Monarch Digital's theme as been completely revamped. The goal of this new theme was to give a much more professional look to Monarch to hopefully escalate the size of contacts.

This site has a basic taxonomy structure and uses path-auto and automatic nodetitles to create URLS and page titles. (I am also an avid user of the Page Title module to help with SEO)

Most of the functionality is hidden to non-administer users. For example, we post proofs of photography and video using a content type created by CCK. I have created several different views which allow us to easily find recent and archived proofs. Finally, I have created a fairly complex display using contemplate. These proofs can be commented on by clients allowing us to quickly and easily receive feedback.

New drupal sites launched: beer, wine, road rage and news media

Hello all,
I just wanted to officially announce the launch of three new drupal sites.
These have been under development for various periods of time and I want all of you to be able to check them out and provide some feedback.

The first is The Liquid Connoisseur (http://www.theliquidconnoisseur.com)
This is a whimsical site using a Google Maps interface to browse various vineyards and breweries and the delicious beverages they produce.
