Still Growing with the Drupal Tools!

I have looked at many ways to do web work and Drupal still is the only Answer!

I am a photographer but when I am hurting to book work to keep the rent paid and employees fed I turn to Drupal to learn something I have not learned yet.

On this last go I have added the Javascript Tools module for left sidebar menus. Then I used TinyMCE to create tables for a simple menu system above my embedded flash slide show that I bought for ten bucks over at the Flash Den.
I am no super coder because photography is the light of my day but Drupal makes it very easy to customize any theme and make it a high end production site.

I have been working with Drupal for 3 years now and did not have any web experience before this. I can honestly say everything I have learned for the most part has been right here on drupal.org in the forums and the hand books!

I now run almost a hundred production websites now and all of them are on Drupal!

These guys make it so great that individuals like myself can make a website work with very little of the left side of the brain functioning!

With Drupal and it's robust selection modules my site has over 3000 search engine links bringing me traffic - thats about 85 pages on my top referral logs in my Drupal Admin Panel over the last 16 weeks!

My Activist Network

My Activist Network is owned by the First Nations Outreach Project, a U.S. based 501 ( c ) 3 Native American Non Profit Organization.

My activist Network is designed to give a global voice to those who believe that changes must be made world wide if mankind is to continue to exist.

Every area and interest of activism is supported through non violent and dedicated presentation of factual information and a voice loud enough to be heard around the world at a whisper.

We are close to a full launch and are looking for volunteers on every level.

If there are those who are concerned about the changes that need to be made and you have experience with drupal, please help us turn myactivistnetwork.org into a site which will bear focus on issues that are so crucial to all of us.

The drupal areas we need help with are
CSS
Module Design and Implementation
Information and layout organization

We are a bit restricted right now because our server will not upgrade to the later version of PHP. We will soon be moving to a different server with this site as it will require a great deal more resources as a membership site than it does now. At that time we will need to upgrade to Drupal 6.x

I hope that we will hear from many of you including those who have specific areas of interest that need attention.

New Website

Here is my first live drupal website, It's a robotics team website, check it out (layout not perfect, but gets the job done...) http://www.team330.org

Show your movie website!

did anybody use the drupap build a movie website?
can you show your site?

Hungry 4 integration

The reason behind this post, is that we believe some guys/girls are thinking right now about complex integration - and, if only that, could be refreshing to know that it could be made - almost painless.

After 2 years or so playing with Drupal - started in the 4.x era - we are re-launching our heavily Drupal/GNU-based community. Once a single-site deployment - and meanwhile waiting other software than mere HTTPd's upgrade to database integration - we are now running a multi-site, multi-protocol endeavor.

Our technical goal is to achieve the right balance between isolated areas (i.e. IRC/chat, forum, campus) while at the same time, taking advantage of the terrific integration capabilities of Drupal (i.e. taxonomies); not an easy task, though - but we are having very promising results as far.

Bluesplayer multi phpBB3 site - Drupal reg and login!

Hi

I am creating a very large site. Still pretty raw at the moment but it is taking shape slowly. I am endeavouring to alter all the scripts the site uses to the Drupal Breeze theme. The scripts currently altered - UK Shopping (Affiliate Window Script) - Software Store (phpsugar script) - YouTube Music (phpsugar script) - still require work but they are functional now.

Of interest are the multi phpbb3 forums that are sharing the Drupal Registration and Login. There are still quite a few issues with this but it is working more or less as I wanted.
