I was building a site in Drupal 6.19 on a webhost server, then they allowed me to upgrade to 7 via a simple script. I did so and then installed the Drupal 7 version of the theme (Marinelli). The menus are sometimes okay, but sometimes entries disappear.
I successfully moved my entire site from one hosting company to another.
Wanted to upgrade from Drupal 6.2 to 7. Did that no problem.
But when I logged into the admin on the site toolbar I have extra "Administration Theme" "Clean URLs" "Date and time" "Error Reporting" "File System" "Image toolkit" "Input Formats" and a whole bunch more that when clicked will only go to the Administration Page. They are also listed there too but it looks like the old 6.2 menu and dont go anywhere either.
I have this message since i updated from 6.19 to 6.20. it started with the update.php, i got a blank page, after that i went back to the front page and all my primary links were gone. then i went to the modules section to see if maybe one of the contribs modules was causing the problem and tried to deactivate them, but any attempts to change anything on the site either gave me a blank page or the message, "An illegal choice has been detected. Please contact the site administrator"
Ok, the story. My server was infected with some sort of virus, all websites using php were infected. From what I could find, only .php files had the infection, and some new directories were created. The virus redirected you to some fake "anti-virus removal" website. I took all my forum sites down (phpBB3) and the one site that was using Drupal 6 and phpBB3 I also took down. At first I thought only the phpBB3 scripts were infected, so once I cleaned all of those I put the site back up. If I stayed on the forum only it was fine.
Trying to upgrade my first site to D7, but can't even get the upgrade.php to run to completion.
Followed upgrade.txt on a test site, but get the message "Drupal 7 requires PHP 5.2.4 or higher with the PHP Data Objects (PDO) extension enabled." on visiting upgrade.php (step 13).
php -i shows PDO installed for mysql on host's site, so I'm at a loss.
Digging through the forum showed several issues, but none seemed to be on this specific issue.
I have ready to upgrade drupal 6.x to drupal 7.x
But lost of some modules, because the module author don't upgrade.
I hope some guys can help me find modules to replace don't upgrade modules.
