Back-End Project on Existing Drupal Site—We Handle Design, Client Relations

Wanted: Solid Drupal Developer to Work with NYC Designers on Web Project

Hi there. I'll keep this quick, because, you know, the internet's big. We run a small graphic design studio in Brooklyn that specializes in non-profit, corporate, and small business branding; logo development; print design; marketing strategy; illustration; and art direction for print and the Web.

We've been hired by a client for a print/Web hybrid project. The Web portion of it needs to be built as a sub-site to their existing site using Drupal. The current draft design doesn't call for anything out of the ordinary—some nice floating tooltips, pop-ups over content, a few videos, and some expandable text/content—but the sub-site itself will contain a considerable amount of content, so, once we establish the templates, there will be a good deal of time invested in migrating the text and data.

We'll need to finalize the sub-site in a test environment and then hand files over to our client, at which point their IT dept. will handle uploading with possible support needed from you if they hit any snags. We'll also be in touch with them as we develop the project to ensure the test environment lines up well with the existing site structure.

Displaying TFS (RDL)-Reports in Drupal

Hi,

I am using Microsoft Teamfoundationserver 2010 (Standard) and have an website created with drupal.

I have created some reports with the microsoft reportbuilder tool (.rdl-files) and want to display those reports on my drupal website. What I can do now, is creating a link from the drupal site, to those reports - the link works. But I want to display the content of those links directly on the drupal site.

I´m not sure what exactly is requiered for doing that.

Why don't we separate node and pages ?

Hi everyone,

lately I have been wondering why does drupal generate a page for every single node created. Far from the start of drupal, the nodes now can take many way of beeing displayed, and in many case they can be just as little as a few quotes to be used in some views/panels.

That's why i have been thinking of an additionnal option in the content type edit panel to "create page for this node type" when selected. this way we can create nodes without "node/xxx" path but still with "node/xxx/edit" path.
