Yesterday, I created a message board on our website and changed the privacy settings so that anonymous users could view and post comments on the message board. However, the message board page was not listed in the menu and someone would have to know the exact URL in order to post a comment.
About 3 or 4 hours later I went to the website and all it said was "This account has been suspended."
I called our tech guy and he said that the IP address of the site giving this message was 74.50.something.something and that was the address in the DNS A record. However, our site's hosting account said the server should be 184.something.something. So, he changed their DNS to that IP number, not knowing how it got changed to the 74 number.
The site is still not up.
We’re now getting this…

Another tech support guy responded with this email: "You are correct about where the A record should be pointing. I'm able to preview the dns change before it propagates across the web and it appears the site is experiencing a critical database issue. I am going to continue to search for a solution."
