I was wondering if there are any plans for modules or core integration of text/image annotations in Drupal?
I searched for existing modules and found annotations lacking to say the least.

Ideally, functionality like annotator would be very cool.

There's lots of reasons to do up press releases. DrupalCon's, community events around the world, work on mobile or RDFa.

As per this page Title: Is this the default condition for Authenticated users?

If not, I need to do what?

Drupal 7.15 Core only.

How do I allow a 'role' of users to delete their own comment?
(I understand that 'reply' (s)
to their comments will be gone,
as well.)

PS: I do Not want their role to have permission,
"Administer comments and comment settings".

If that is not possible using D7-core only,
what module (s) do you recommend;
please.
