Of all the differences coming up in drupal 8.x, I was wondering if anyone knows if they will be making the core updates (such as 8.1 to 8.2) as easy as module updates are, or if it would even be possible to have core updates this easy?
I know sometimes the .htaccess is manually altered by developers for sites that is sometimes altered in newer core updates.
Design & Build a Web-based Test Logging & Documentation system for internal company use.
Thus, when conducting tests, engineers would document and record test information using a web-interface or app.
Engineers could update test information, search for test information, and view test results all from the website.
I imagine this system to have many similarities to the D.O issue queue system.
I was curious for the new Drupal 8, but I can't save articles.
The following error message appears: "the "authored on" date is invalid."
I cannot change the date format, so I can't save the article.
The only way to save an article, is to clear the Authored on date in the authoring information (setting it to dd/mm/jjjj).
But this has to be done every time you want to save the article.
Background. We're a startup that is trying to get people to upload their traffic tickets, after which we send them to the appropriate defenders.
Instead of getting customers to scan and upload an image we would like to figure a more elegant solution where by customers can take a picture with their webcam or smartphone
Ideally a one button click would bring up the camera and the camera would detect the ticket (basically detect a rectangular shape) but only take a picture of the shape and not the whole background.
I try to develop my website with the new Drupal 8 in multilingual.
I succeed to translate the content (I have a "Translate" tab) without difficulty.
But I don't understand how can I translate the menu ?
I seem to have some issues with the theme I attempted to install. When using the default "bartik" for example, all blocks in the admin panel area of the site show up. In the custom theme, there is no block in the administration panel.
In addition, these are the errors that happen when I switch the new theme on:
Notice: Undefined index: menu-job-publisher-menu in menu_block_view() (line 486 of /home/migtr0/public_html/modules/menu/menu.module).
