I have some advice to my specific needs, requirements on the web that i am going to build on Drupal. If a similar contribution has already been posted on this forum, I apologize, but I was unable to find it.
As a relative amateur I want to build a database for insertion and find out materials (say, something like a database and search portal, example here: http://sis.vso-praha.eu/clavius/eng/baze.htm), which will meet my requirements.
Is there a way to get a sample database or reinstalled version of the OpenAtrium or any other distribution that already has some sample content created. By sample content, I mean users, posts, event, articles, etc...
I know during the installation of Drupal Commons, there is an option for installing sample content, however, there isn't much content generated.
Occasionally, when I install my drupal 8 module I created, and there is an error during the installing/extending,
the module will show up as a greyed out checked checkbox in the Extend List, but
does not show up under the Uninstall tab.
How do I Uninstall it?
(i've seen how to do it with Drupal 7, about looking at the "system" table in MySQL,
but in Drupal 8, there is no "system" table, and other tables that begin with "cache_"
only have BLOBs for data.)
Basically the subject is my question. Will Drupal 8 get any performance improvements in beta or RC? Currently it is slower than 7. I am planning to switch to 8 now. It has a new API anyway and I have some PHP skills. Also will I be able to update from alpha to beta and RC after beta?
Thank you.
