as the topic says, I've enabled maintenance mode on my D8 installation, saved configuration settings but the maintenance mode page isn't showing. Any ideas what might cause this?

Since a couple of days I am exploring Drupal 8 out of interest, reading "Beginning Drupal 8" and watching the "Drupal 8 Beginner Class" on YouTube. My background is mainly in front-end development, but I know my ways around in PHP, which is certainly not scaring me.

Hi, I'm new to Drupal8, since it's officially released just few days ago.
I use my Hosting (IIS,PHP 5.5.29,MySQL) for the new site.

I was able to install Drupal8 without any Problem.
However after the installation the site does not show any theme applied, all plain text displayed.

What is missing, any obvious hints?

I had the fantastic idea of using my skills to contribute to a drupal project. So I cloned the repo, made changes and uploaded the patch file into an issue.

But now the test keeps failing saying: fail: [Other] Line 33 of modules/swiftmailer/src/Tests/SwiftMailerSettingsTest.php:
Unable to install modules libraries, swiftmailer, block due to missing modules libraries.
