Base theme for minimalist development

Hi,

I want to develop a minimalist D8 theme and I would like to know which base theme should I use. Any suggestion?

Files/viruses are getting uploaded to tmp folder

Lately we have been getting .php.tmp files in our Drupal tmp directory (C:\Windows\Temp), and our anti-virus catches them as trojans/viruses.

The date stamp on the files correspond to log entries where foreign IP addresses are trying to access /wordpress/ paths in our drupal directory. (Which do not exist, and they get 404 errors).

Disable caching in drupal 8?

In drupal 7 i was able to make changes to css during development and have them reflected without having to clear the caches for every little styling adjustment. I also used to be able to have one 'style.css' and include other files inside it like @include header.css, etc.

In drupal 8, this is no longer the case. Every individual file seems to have to be in the yml library to work at all, and every single change to a css file requires clearing the caches before it will show up. This is especially annoying since doing that takes about 10 times longer in 8 than it did in 7.

How do I use image field as a background image of a div

Hi,

I tried to ask this question in Stack Overflow (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/33659054/how-to-get-image-url-from-ur...) but I haven't got any comments so I'm trying here.

I have my own content type (task). It has couple text fields and one image field. I'd like to render those so that everything is inside a div and that the div uses image as a background image (kind of tiles).

Here's my complete question copied from Stack Overflow:

No CSS loading on fresh install of Drupal 8.0.0

Hello,

I am afraid my issue is quite a noob one, but I would still appreciate any help or if you could give me hints how to make this work. I have searched for mention of similar problems on Google and on Drupal.org, but have not been able to find any. I am using AMPPS for creating a test environment on Windows. AMPPS itself runs perfectly fine, just the Drupal module does not. Since AMPPS does not offer any support, I am turning to you.

My Drupal 8.0.0 does not load any CSS files, no matter what I try.
