Relational Data Possibilities?

Currently playing with V5 + CCK.

I've got a site running in ASP that I'd like to transition to drupal, provided it can support this type of scenario.

Current data structure:

- Multiple artists
- Each artist has multiple cds
- Each cd has multiple tracks

Ideally artist, cd, and track would be their own node types (with CCK) but I am running into some troubles trying to get the relationships to function. For example: Click on an artist for a list of their cds, etc.

Multiple Languages

I need to create an english and a spanish, is this possible which Drupal? How would you do it?

Thank you,

Sarah

Is Drupal Right for Me?

Okay, in a nutshell I'm looking to setup:

Use Drupal for a site regarding foreign TV shows & movies

Hello everyone.

I’m looking to start up my own website and Drupal caught my eye. However, I’m not sure whether Drupal is the best CMS for my needs, nor do I know which version to use or what additional modules I would need. Here’s a run-down of the features for the future website.

It’s basically a website to inform people about foreign TV series and movies. There are two groups of users: site contributors and regular members. There are two main parts:

1. the main site:
This contains articles on foreign TV series and movies with cast info, story synopsis, trivia, etc.

I would like to create a template for this that site contributors can (re)use to create new pages on new shows and movies. The structure would be a tree-like structure with different categories for the series and movies. Within each category, the shows and movies are ordered alphabetically.

Only site contributors can add or modify articles. For each article (each article is one series or movie), site members can write a small review and appreciation (give points from 1 to 10 for example)

Each article contains not only textual info but also some screenshots of the series or movie. I would also like this database (so to speak of) of series and movies be searchable with keywords.

2. the forum

Database layout

Apologies if this isn't in the correct forum.

Is there somewhere online that explains each of the SQL tables and what each of the elements of the tables do?

Which modules for my website(DRUPAL 6.x)?

Hallo,

I am looking for a tip from experienced users of DRUPAL. The question is, what modules should I use to gain this functionality:

- I want to run SMF forum on the website(SMF bridge?)
- I want to run image gallery on the website(non flash)
- I want to have lightbox-style image browser on the website
- I want to have guestbook on the website(also for non registered users)
- I want to have contact form on the website(also for non registered users)
- I want to play youtube videos on the website(and from similar sites)
