Before you start

Hello comunity.
I'm newbie with Drupal. And I have 2 little questions:

I'm not "new", well I am new but I have used drupal once before, by my first question is, will Drupal allow me to get indexed on google as fast as wordpress helped me. It seems that google likes wordpress pages "alot" and I'm wondering if this is the same for drupal pages.

Question 2 is, should I get Drupal 5.7 or Drupal 6?
Question 3, which ^ has the best/most plugins?

I want o know Other than Microsoft Word which is in sharepoint what is the alternative in drupal.
As iam working with drupal which is open source i have to submit all the alternatives so please help me.

i wan't to know how i can remove the date from the SMF new topic block on this site http://gimp-tutorials.net.
it's just taking up space and i would like to see it gone but i don;t know how i can change it.

Hello all, and thanks for any help ahead of time.

Let's say I'm building a site of car dealers, categorized by location. So I could do this manually: create a page California using the URL alias "california" with all the cities listed, then one named Los Angels with URL Alias "california/los-angeles" with all the LA dealers listed, and then a story for a Toyota dealer with alias "california/los-angeles/toyota-los-angeles" where I could put information about the dealer.

I've been impressed with what I've seen of Drupal so far but can it do the following:

I need to have 3 levels of access to the site based on membership groups
I need Drupal to handle the subscription payments
Will the subscription payments update the user access level based on what has been paid for
