I am a complete Drupal newbie. I have over 1,000 products for an ecommerce site. If possible I am requiring a quick solution to deal with them.
Is there a quicker way than manually inputting the price for each one and various other features. For example, a lot of the products will have the same size specifications and prices but will have different images.
I'm totally new to the world of CMSs and could need some advice. And I should probably mention, that it's a hobby for me.
I've started with webdesign about two years ago being especially interested in responsive design and finally found my way to bootstrap 3. So for my last projects I've started with the bootstrap 3 sources, build the content in html and added css/less and some javascript to customize it - like the website of my chorus.
I am wanting to create a separate login page for my drupal back end where I actually edit my website, however I want the changes to show up on my actual website located at a different url. Meaning for instance
www.mywebsitebackend.com - Would be the domain url where I would login to edit my website - Now when these changes are made, I would like them to show up on my website at a different url
I am curious about using drupal to build a website that will allow users to create their own personalized "collections" of items. Each user might tag 100s or possibly even thousands of items as part of their collection. I would want to provide various views into this data collection.
I'm wondering of there is any example of such a design that I can learn from... or is this even a doable concept in drupal? I will initially be using a low-cost hosting provider so I am also concerned about performance.
