Drupal experience = Zero.

I apologize if this is the wrong location or if what I desire falls outside of the capabilities or idea of Drupal.

I have been tasked with collecting all the IT assets (desktop, laptop, phones, printers, monitors, ancillary) for a small company, 30 employees and assets spread across several states. I have collected much of the info and dumped into a spreadsheet but within days it was out of date due to reassigning equipment.

I want to build a website for an entertainment company that does photography and a few other things. I have been searching for a free theme to build with but there are not much Drupal photography free themes available.

I am looking for a theme with beautiful styling that will present images aesthetically.

Please any suggestions on any available themes I can use. I will also appreciate low-cost premium themes as the project is low cost belonging to a startup photographer.

Hi everyone,

Coming from the WP world. I have a website that has grown to large and am looking to switching to Drupal. Plus will use Drupal for a new site I am starting.

Drupal is new to me, but I am very excited to learn this powerful CMS. My only question is should I built my new site on Drupal 8 or 7. It looks that not a lot of modules are ported to Drupal 8 yet.

Should I start with Drupal 7 and move to 8 in the future? Or since I am starting fresh, just go with D8.

What are your thoughts?
