Aggregation more like aggrevation or maybe i am trying to do something way to advanced for my level of knowledge. Highly likely. Anyway if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Put simply i am experimenting with Drupal to aggregate content from several different feeds/sources including media sites such as YouTube into one page per category.

Hi, I know that the presentation layer is separated from funcionality, but what's the best approach to develop a website in Drupal as fast and efficiently as possible? Should I first create the look of my website, or add and configure the modules first?

Is Drupal a lot easier then Joomla and can it do everything Joomla can do? Not sure why I ask but I have no idea how to use Joomla properly, as far as I got was knowing how to change the theme lol.
Is Drupal more easier then Joomla cause I spent a lot of time trying to learn how to use it (took me months).

All I wanted to do is do content management for the client to update their own website, also online transaction, shopping cart, paypal and whatever there is to know about e-commerce.

I just discovered Drupal recently having spent the past three years developing websites with Joomla (i wish i discovered Drupal first) so i'm a stark newbie here. I got a client who wants a website similar in functionality with this website: http://www.fxpro.com

Was this site developed with Drupal?
Can i develop it with Drupal?
If yes, what modules do i need to use and what learning path do i take to be able to master drupal website development?

Hello Drupal Experts,

As I understand it, to add content, you need to embed your html/php within the drupal database for a page/story. Except for the case where you develop a module.

So I was wondering if you can specify that a node take content from a php file and display it. Therefore instead of embeding your content within a page, you would specify an external source to use to display the data. It would be applicable for the main content.

I tried posting this as a bug issue for the Ability theme but responses there are excruciatingly slow. I'm hoping someone in ths forum can give me an idea how to fix this problem:
