PHP content types formatted in dreamweaver?

I want to make a website with:

_A 2 column 50 row table in the middle of each page, (a content type),
_a search menu to execute advanced SQL search queries on the table values, to sort them by time location etc,
_an input form to put values, neatly to the left or under the table
_front page with most popular tables, taxonomy browser, random tables, site news

How can i make many tables in drupal, by category, options to sort them, should the forms/search/taxonomy info be inside seperate block, else formatting would be tricky?

News site with external links in Drupal?

Hi folks,

Am very close to moving my large news site to Drupal from Joomla having been frankly 'wowed' by my first impressions - having used over 20 cms' both commercial and not, have to say this is by far the most intuitive and modern I've ever used.

Have pretty much figured the cms out, however there's one question I'd like to ask if I may.

Drupal suited for my websiteproject?

Hello there,

Im starting a website project soon and I would like to know if my client wishes are possible to realize within the drupal cms.

The mainpage would consist a simple header, some newsitems with an image and a 'read more' button, and a newsitesm bar with just plain text titles of latest items tha are clickable, a menubar and loginfield for members. Members subscriptionpage.
The siteadministrator and moderators should be given the option to put new post and pages into the membersarea only or to both in the membersarea and the publicsite.

Within the membersarea there must be the following things
- Profilepages per user, customizable by user
- Workgroups that can make their own forums or blogs within their pages
- Multiple level rights for members. Some should be able to start a workgroup and create a blog/forum some can only read or post.
- Only one login to be able to post on a forum their connected to. So when they login to the membersarea they don't have to login again for posting on a topic within their workingroup.
- Photogalleries
- Calendar with possibility to register/unregister for events

Also some kind exportfunction to export all profile data of the members into an excel file.
And last but very important: Everything needs to be fully customizable designwise by .css

Looking to migrate from PostNuke

Well, another one probably heading towards the Drupal world...

I've been running a car club site on PostNuke for a bit over five years, so I'm very familiar with their way of doing things. PostNuke has upgraded to Zikula, and - whilst it's a good CMS - there's a few of the add-in modules which I've been relying on which don't seem to be alive any more. The pace of development has dropped off, and I'm starting to wonder if the version upgrade is worth it, or if I'd be better pushing my effort into a move to another CMS.

I know you lot are just a bit biased, so you won't disagree when I say that Drupal seems to be the platform of choice.

The basic structure of the site is that unregistered users get access to a lot of the content, but registered users get a little more. If a registered user is one of the c.2500 current paid members of the club (this is a mainly offline club, with real-world events and meetings, and a monthly dead-tree-edition magazine), then they get access to everything - they tell us their username via a form, allowing us to manually tie the two together behind the scenes, with access controlled by physically adding the user to or removing them from a group.

Having a first look around Drupal, I'm seeing that most things I'm doing now have direct equivalents, and migration looks relatively straightforward for most.
