A bigger Projekt for the next 6 month - waiting for Drupal 7?

Hello :)

I'm considering Drupal for a bigger Project: It would be a Site with a big Focus on Media, Podcast, Community, E-Shool, internal-section, etc. This would take a few month to prepare. So I'm thinking now if it would be a good idea to start concepting and building the site with an Alpha or Beta Version of Drupal 7 and realease it when Drupal 7 is ready.
But i think nobody knows when Drupal 7 will be really ready for this?

In over my head, advice needed!

Alright, where to begin?
I'm new to the whole CMS and Durpal scene. I used to build all my websites by hand using html and a little bit of CSS. Pitifully basic. However I recently envisioned this grand website and functions far above my skill level. I'm told Durpal is a great way to go, but will it do what I need it to do? I need a website that can...

Creating an Admin Request Queue in Drupal, viable?

Hello Drupal Community!

I am working on scoping out a project and am trying to determine if Drupal is a viable solution to certain functionality I want. I will describe what it is I'm trying to do, with hopes that some Drupal experts out there could chime in about whether it's achievable using Drupal, and perhaps provide some suggestions.

Basically, on the website there would be several different types of forms. When a visitor fills out one of these forms, a new record would show up in a queue that is viewable by staff members with certain permissions. For instance, if a visitor fills out a "Request an Appointment" form, this would create a new record in the backend queue. Several staff members would be monitoring this queue, and one of them could take ownership of this new request, do some external stuff, and then update the status of the request.

Removing a node page from search results?

I asked this at the end of my other thread but I figured I'd post again so the actual question is in the subject.

I indexed my site and when searching for a filetype in this case it is a sound the page that actually has all the sounds comes up. So a link thats in my primary links already that takes you to the main sound page is indexed when searched. Is there a way I can remove a specific page or set of pages from the search results?

Multilanguage Site / Multi Site

I am currently working on project that needs a its site in two languages. I have already looked through a lot of documentation and forum posts but as I am fairly new to CMS and php, I am a overwhelmed by the complexity to achieve this functionality. The site has has one news (blog) type page and a photo gallery, the rest to of the pages are mostly static. Could I just use the multi site functionality and have two databases to achieve it. The site would be running on one domain. Would that be a solution?
