RSS question:
In the polling option it says that I must add a proper command line to cron.php in order for polling to work properly. Have my aggregator and other modules already done this for me? Or is this something I need to do. If so please tell me what command line I need to insert into cron.php. Also, should cron.php be setup to run periodically anyways? If so how do I do this?

Also, it only pulled the latest 30 news topics. I would like to pull all of them from the beginning. Is there a way to do this?

Hello, I am new to drupal and find the module directory very time consuming to use compared to Joomla, however am interested in using Drupal.

Below are features that are needed for a project and curious if the Drupal has modules for all the requirements below, also if you could provide recomendations. Hopefully this list is not too complex for Drupal to handle as the client does not have thousands to spend on custom programming.

I would like to download Drupal API extention for dreamweaver on my PC at http://xtnd.us/dreamweaver/drupalapi, however the link is not working for me I am getting a screen full of variables, like is in Mac format or something. Is there another site that has a download for what I need?

Hi guys me again! Sorry to hassle you guys. I have an rss feed from another site I want to pull the information to my site. I have added the feed in feed aggregator. How do I get this to display on the page I want it to display on? The page is a node which is a menu link on my front page it is a Software News link. I left the page blank as I want this feed to be the first thing on the page. How do I go about getting the feed to display on this page? Thanks a bunch guys! I read and searched the site and found all kinds of issues but never the simplest of how to get it to display :)

I have created a views block and enabled "exposed form in blocks" yes. I put it over in the right block and all it does is add a form button that says "apply". I have also added a view called block on the views settings. So I have a "page" and a "block" view for this view. I copied the view from my regular table that displays on the main page for my content. I want the most recent 5 to show in the right block. However, all I am able to get is that "apply" button. Any help here greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I was planning to create a website like Yahoo with a good search engine and a lot of extra features like weather, games, chat, mainly things to attract visitor. Also the searching should be done on some interesting categories such video, blogs, audio etc. Thumbnails for sites and quick preview of sites should be nice! Then I will put some adsense ads and some income will be available too...I heard good money can be earned from these kind of sites!
Is Drupal and his modules able to support such a project or maybe should I try another CMS?
