Before you start

After I uploaded the Event module in the Module folder, I found that I cannot get it enabled. Please help me.

Hi, I work for a company that designs and sells clothing. One of my current projects is to write a piece of software that allows the creation and management of product range plans. The kind of data we are talking about are; product codes, names, colour schemes, size scales, care labels, fabric types and images to be displayed alongside for all the puiblished range colours.

All products would need to be managed within a logical structure which is kind of why I am looking at the Drupal CMS.

I'm interested in knowing what legal headaches some of you might have encountered after setting up an online store for someone and it got hacked. It seems that everyone wants a website and they want to set up a shop but no one wants to pay to have their site supported or secured. My personal feeling is that if you can't pay to have your site maintained then you shouldn't bother with an online store.

What do you think?

Hello there.

I have been a long time Joomla user and have always enjoyed it's endless opportunities with extensions etc,
but want to move to Drupal.

I want to build a video sharing site similar to youtube.
That means users can upload videos, have a profile page, comment, rate, embed videos (also from youtube and other video sites), etc.
Well, pretty much as youtube.

We are in the throes of setting up a CMS based web site and so far Drupal is favourite.

As part of the site we want to supply reviews of all sorts of things which we then invite readers comments and scores.

For example, we might write up a review / overview of a movie. This review would not have any kind of score attached to it - it would simply be an objective description. Then we invite members to add their comments and a score of some kind. The scores we would aggregate and display.
