Before you start

Hello everybody!
I want to create a site based on DrupalCMS, but I dont know if it posible and not to difficult:

Idea: Website like social community for companies, where they can secure many connections to another companies (buissnes contacts).

In my company there is a network of different branches and we want to create a collective website to share bits of information whether that's news articles, slideshow presentations, important calendar dates, video, audio, pictures etc...

Is Drupal for us?

It would be good to have an input system on the website, but could it also grab articles from rss feeds and email?

Hi im a newbie,

i have a module to create tree structured content.

like subject,chapters,topics.

i jus created a category for subject ,

and also i jus created a page for chapter for tht category maths and i stuck with creatin inner topics

for that chapter .

is there any right way to create tree structure.

Hi im beginner in Drupal,

E-learning website

im doing a payment module having 3 packages with different products like

package -A (maths, physics,etc) package -B (all subjects) => each subjects are page nodes

and each package have quarter,half,yearly duration subscription .

please anyone help me how to proceed with ubercart module just an idea will make me kickstart or suggest me any modules avail or it can be done by own module.

I'm from Germany and planning to start a file-hosting service business. You can call it a Streamhoster. Example: www.Sharehoster.com

Users should be able to upload their videos, this file should be transferred to a encoder server which encodes the file to mp4/ogg (we still discuss this) and transfer it back to the main or storage server.
This files should be viewed in a HTMl5-Stream with Flash-Fallback.

I just ask because i saw modules like ffmpeg wrapper / mediamover etc.

I've got some Drupal experience, but a new idea has me searching for the right module(s) or other solutions(s). I'd like to let people sign up via a form on my site and provide some custom data about themselves (so probably not the standard user registration form) ... then provide a way for any site visitor to see that data, sorted/filtered by certain fields (e.g., view all users in a selected state). None of the petition/signature modules seems quite right. Any ideas? I'm very open to using CiviCRM for part of it. All tips appreciated!
