Possible? Information Database with granular permissions

The project is a non-public, closed site. AKA Intranet.

The objective is to map Country, State, City and Neighborhood on the system, then relate all the information statistically with charts.

Forms shall be constructed by the main Manager with the fields he wants.
No problem with giving him a little training with views/cck.

Field examples: Origin, Dates, Events, Culture, Architecture, Government, Social Development.

Product Management

I'm looking for a product management module that allows me to set up products and available options. The 'products' are, in fact, foods, such as Burritos, Tacos, Salads, etc.

Model Website - Is Drupal my Choice or Joomla!

Hey everybody,
I've been a Joomla! user for a few years now and have honestly enjoyed using it, but we've come to a project where we need to expand our horizons, as Joomla! just doesn't seem to have the features we need.

My client is looking to base their website off of http://hitsp.org/

HITSP looks to be pretty straight-forward as regular content pages go, but it looks like the main purpose of the site is document management - and when I say document management, I mean, "is this even possible?"

Some of the features I've noticed that HITSP offers are:

Document attachments (obviously - but the ability to create as many attachments as needed per item page)
Place those items into multiple categories
Select Related Items ("Referenced By" column - http://hitsp.org/ConstructSet_Details.aspx?&PrefixAlpha=1&PrefixNumeric=01)
Changelogs (that can keep previous versions of a document available in the front-end - http://hitsp.org/ConstructSet_Details.aspx?&PrefixAlpha=1&PrefixNumeric=01 - the different versions available)
ACL (to allow users to upload and select very specific categories to upload to)
Filter by specific custom fields (status, topic, etc.)

What we were trying to use in Joomla! is called Zoo (a CCK), if anyone is familiar with it (http://zoo.yootheme.com) but the lack of front-end submission is the main killer here.

My site is off-line, how can I access it?

I have registered at drupal.org. and logged in to start creating my site. At the first page I had all different tools and started to change some things. One thing I wanted to was to make the site look (to others) like it was under maintenance. I managed to do that and now when I enter my site it says that "This site is under maintenance. We should be back shortly. Thank you for your patience.". Great. However, now I am unable to access all the tools to create my page. Where do I go to be able to administrate my site?

Which module could mimic this site for me using Drupal?

Hi,

I am interested in using drupal to mimic a site similar to localsknow.ca

I am wondering which modules would be best to do this.

My idea is to have people upload spots via mobile and online with pictures and comments.

As well as have geographic mapping of the spot and a rating feature.

If someone could help me out with this. I would really appreciate it.

I look forward to using Drupal if this can be done.

Thanks.
