I'm brand new to Drupal, and have succesfully installed it on a 1and1 Linux server. I'm trying to create a website which allows users to create their own website. So lets say my website is www.buildyourownsite.com. Users can then sign up and create a website for free, choosing an alias like "john_smith", and then creating a website at www.buildyourownsite.com/john_smith.

How does the search module works in drupal, what kind of data are indexed (metadata, contents, titles, attached files, images alt...)
Can we add "tags" when creating new contents in order to ameliorate search results?
