Before you start

I Would like to create a second site, completely separate from my existing drupal site. Should I use the sites module? Is it a simple process to do this? I literally dont know where to start. The forums etc talk about multisite, but that seems to suggest some level of linking the two sites together, or them feeding off the same database. I dont need to do this as the two projects are completely separate. Will this make my task easier?

I am new to Drupal. I would like to install and learn. I have heard Druplal 7 has some issues. Should I start learning on Drupal 6 or 7? Is it easy to migrate from one version to the other? Also, what is difference between Drupal vs AcquiaDrupal?

We have found some very usefull modules for "quality control", "production control", "purchasing", "stock keeping". Some of the modules we have found exactly macthe our needs but for some we need modifications..

I am wondering whether somebody out there has a similar experience and would like to exchange ideas, advices.

The site administrator is all powerful, and can see all content (including uploaded files). What if this is the one problem that prevents a new site being built on Drupal?

Im new to drupal. Im interested to make a website where members can signup and add their products or lets say cars, houses, books, iphones, whatever they want to sell to the web site. I will not have online sell like paypal or anything else. I just want to enable them share their products and the interested people can directly contact them. I also want to make some stuff like filtering by price, insert_date etc for these products. Can you help me how to start? Which module can I use for this? I want to understand also the logic of this.

I am designing a multilingual website and I am in a confusion whether to go with drupal 6.19 or drupal 7.
If I am proceeding with Drupal 6x can you guys please suggest me which modules will be good to use?

Or using drupal 7 is a better option if so what are the best modules?

Can we integrate Google One pass into a website? I browsed through Drupal website but couldn't find any suggestions related to this. It will be really helpful if someone can guide me
