I have a client who is interested in having me create a services referral website similar to Angie's List. Is there a module already developed for such an application? Thanks

I am looking for a module (in d6) that allows me to add a form page that is linked to the database. The form will basically provide a search page for alumni so that when a user types a name or a year, the list of alumni appear along with the e-mail and graduation year.

Should this be developped in php? or is there a module ready fir this?

I have tried Drupal in the past and found it to be overly complex.
Yet I have a hunch that only Drupal is flexible and capable enough to do so.

I need some tips suggestions on themes and frameworks to look at, before i install. I am very php,html,css experienced, but have very little Drupal experience.

I dont mind a paid theme if it has lots of good functionality. What frameworks or themes have you worked with that saved you a bunch of time? Which has lots of built in stuff for lots of users, lots of features? What kind of things should I look for in a framework?

I am lead coordinator of a major city Occupy site redesign. We need forums, calendars, voting, multi user roles and permissions, etc.

I am new to Drupal and to the board so please bear with me.

Is there anywhere to view working examples of specific installed modules to get a better idea if it suits ones needs and what one is getting into other then the written descriptions? I have been looking around but have not see anything that provides this, unless I don't know what I am looking at, which could very well be the case.
