Problemas con apache y mysql

Buenas tengo algunos problemas con mi wampserver para poder instalar drupal.
Yo programo en java y por eso tengo instalado en mi pc ECLIPSE y Apache Tomcat y Mysql.
Pero cuando instalo wampserver este programa viene integrado con un mysql y apache. El apache que viene con wampserver esta inactivo y no puedo ejecutar mi pagina web. Que soluciones puedo tener porfavor.

Hello, i have a project to complete and i i want to know if drupal if capable to help me make it.
I want to make a network where users ll get the own subdomain on registration with their username on it(like wordpress blog). Each registered user will ll be an author of his blog. I plan to have more than 1000subdomains. So the structure of the db is really important. i think the best would be have one core with modules and templates and each user can choose what he wants to be enabled for his profile. Is something like this possible? any ideas are welcome

I am about to add drupal to my website which is using EasyCarPortal right now. Is this possible?
Do I need additional database for the drupal installation? What are the best approach to integrating the solution?

Hey Everyone.

I am thinking about using Drupal as an intranet solution for the company I work for. One of the ideas passed around the table was the ability to have classes posted for sign up on the intranet page. The user would be able to see how many available slots are left and use Active Directory to sign up.

Does anyone know if such a thing is possible?

I will be transitioning site A to Drupal (site B)
I just can't match the paths from site A to site B (site A has paths like example.com/media/pages/file.html)
I CAN make the file.html part sorta match ie:
Site A "arca_swiss_info.html"
Site B "example.com/arca_swiss_info

I currently have a website that I developed in Wordpress. I have reached the limits of Wordpress' capabilities (and my own!) and now need more functionality. I am unfamiliar with Drupal and have been contacted by a Web Design/Developer who uses Drupal exclusively and is telling me that Drupal can do much more than Wordpress and that re-creating my site in Drupal will allow me to do the specific functions I am looking for. In specifics, I need a significant amount of users to have their own "account" with specific information in it. Wordpress as I understand it can certainly do this, but I hear that Drupal can do it better and easier with more functionality and reports that I might want to have. So I am considering moving over to Drupal.

However, as a business owner, I am VERY concerned about losing the SEO ground that I have built up using Wordpress over the last (almost) 2 years. I've done a lot of snooping and it appears the consensus is that Wordpress has superior SEO abilities, Drupal...not so much.
