Automated multisite subdomain registration

Hello!

For a project i have, i need to have the feature multisite enabled. Multisite with use of subdomain for each user at registration. Something similar to what wordpress does at h**ps://en.wordpress.com/signup/ when you try to register a new blog. I also need each subdomain for have separate db for better security.

Is this possible with drupal?

Multi-Site with D7 planning

I have a project that requires using drupal to build a multi-site with individual domains. This site needs to have a splash page with links to each sub site, have one login screen and run on the same db. Each site needs to have it's own unique theme and content as they are different businesses under one group. I would also need a way to filter content in the administration pages as to which site the content belongs to. Is there a module that would help make this easier...? or a combination of modules?

Drupal suitable for music site with reviews and music database?

Hi all,

I've read the Getting Started but didn't get an answer there.

We have a website about music with, most importantly, news items, concert reviews and interviews, and album reviews.

For the album reviews we want to build a database of artists (eg. "Pink Floyd"), albums (eg. "The Wall"), releases (eg. "2LP, EMI, 1981"), and reviews. A review is about a single release, and written by a single reviewer. Reviewers can only write, they are assigned a review by the Review Editor, who decides which reviews are published. When the Reviewer checks the Finished box, the Reviewers can no longer edit their reviews.
Right now, a dozen reviews are published frequently in one long article (to avoid people linking to a single review and according our policy to mix reviews of well-known with unknown bands). The Review Editor (who is also a Reviewer) decides which finished reviews are included. If this (multiple reviews in a single issue) is a big problem, we can abandon this policy.

Can i do this in Drupal ?

Concerning Webforms and passing information

As a beginning PHP programmer, i am able to create website forms ...have users input data into a web form with over 20 fields....and have that information emailed to me immediately after they hit send. I can also set up my webform to have the info sent to my cell phone in text format.

I want to do this in Drupal.

Is this possible?

What modules would i use..and what other programs would i need to impliment to make this work in Drupal.

Thanks for your input.

Project based module development e-book or tutorial?

I am looking for any kind of source for project based module development.

Please recommend any e-book or video tutorial for this. Paid or free doesn't matter.

Thanks!

With multiple blogs, can each blog have its own theme?

If a Drupal site will support multiple blogs, can each of these blogs have its own theme?
