Before you start

Hi, I wanted to know what is the most possible way to organize content in drupal 7, using pathauto and taxonomy to get links like:

category/subcategory/node

where category and subcategory also can be treated like a node (if you go to example.com/category or example.com/category/subcategory it will display an article)

I want to create a site that the all users can download items from and the authenticated user can also add them. It would just be simple site. Is drupal a good option for this? And if it is, what modules or distribution would I use? I would prefer a distribution as I do not have much experience with drupal.

Hi to the great community of Drupal. We develop website with Joomla for 6 years and now we consider the long jump to Drupal.

We have a project that I 'll describe below and I'm wondering if it is possible to use some modules of drupal to implement some function and some others to develop some module (as we are wed developers and the api/docs of drupal as I can see is very detailed) to complete the project.

Since i'm new to drupal. I have some doubts. I want to use a membership module in Drupal. And so i planned to use the Ubercart. Now i can able to create a membership package on Ubercart.

My questions are,

1. Could I able to add products to that membership user role?

2. What happens to the products, if a membership is not renwed by a user? Still the user can able to buy those products under the membership role?

Hi. I am wondering if Drupal is an appropriate tool, along with its modules/customization, for the following project.

Inventory System for small electronics company that:
- Tracks physical inventory with a large number of fields (Serial #, revision, location, etc)
- A receive/repair system
- Customer tracking system (Who our clients are, what specific unit we sold them)
- Sales data (Who we sold what to, for how much, what the contract was)

I am planning to buy a resellers account but I’m not sure which account to go with as I’ve never used Drupal before.

I have experience in HTML and CSS which enables me to design and style simple websites but I want to create a CMS website to enable my websites to do much more than I personally am capable of.
