I'm looking into possibility of using Drupal as a framework for web application that will access DB2 databases.
Considerations:
1) Use Drupal for user access and security (via LDAP).
2) Write various modules to perform CRUD activities on iSeries/DB2 via ADODB5/ODBC.
3) Use Single Page Application/Modules to perform various functions.
Hi all: I am new to Drupal, but heard a lot of great things about it. We are looking at creating a system that connect mobile phones with a web based application. The purpose of this system is to track field workers and update their status, jobs and track time. We intend to add more features as we go.
I am a writer that is starting a new job with a company. I come from print publishing and my new job will involve updating and maintaining a Drupal-based website. The company will provide training of course, but I would like to get up to speed as much as possible prior to that. Can anyone recommend any books or other resources that would be helpfiul to me (i.e. Drupal for Dummies, etc.).
I am currently in the beginning stages of creating a website for my friend. The site is an e-commerce site that provides product download only. The site currently collects all of its payments using Paypal and there are no shipping charges or other fees collected. It is pretty limited on what the site can do now, that is why they have asked me to develop a brand new one, one that is more flexible. I have been looking at all of the software requirements and have a couple of questions.
Hello, I have started a new job as a webmaster wherein I'm evaluating and recommending revisions to a current website that has been developed in Drupal 7. Unfortunately the site was made by a novice Drupal developer and isn't all that user-friendly or easy to navigate. The site allows for users to securely apply for grants, as well as for different admins to upload blogs and photo galleries to a shared feed blogs. It also lets admins view and download application data through Excel (which is clunky).
I am unfamiliar with Drupal; however, I was asked to set-up a website using Drupal (I have a CD with coding & files to be uploaded to drupal) and Go Daddy.
Can anyone provide me with the steps? Does Drupal have to be downloaded to a computer, or is it web-based? Once I have access to Drupal how do the files I have on the CD integrate Go Daddy?
