I am a complete newbie to Drupal.

I want to publish 1000-2000 books with approx. 500 pages in each book. Can drupal handle such a content heavy site?

What is the size of database drupal can handle?

I have been reading a bit on how to integrate a payment gateway with a client's website in development. It is a school website.

My question: Is there a way to integrate CCAVENUE Payment Gateway Module (https://www.drupal.org/project/commerce_ccavenue) without the need to use a cart, since a school website, just for accepting fees...

Most of the reading I have done indicate using some cart, like Ubercart or Drupal commerce etc.

Any help is much appreciated.

Taxonomy terms aren't visible in nodes or views after an upgrade (minor) to 6.33.

One thing that might help is that I remember messing around in the views.

But, it's any content type...

I do have the content_permissions module installed, but it does not seem to be the culprit.

I also experimented with display suite, but that is quite clearly not the problem.

I am thinking of creating a news aggregator about a particular topic (e.g. Google Glass). Majority of links are to come from Google Alerts, some from popular tech blogs (filtered for google glass), some I'll post on my own. And then I'll apply some moderation throwing out search results that don't actually bring much news.

I want to install the drupal now and use the Durpal basic modules for about 3 month , and then install the Drupal commerce modules.

I now have more information about one aspect and am looking for any advice on how to build this. I actually did something similar years ago using Drupal 6, but most of the tools and the way Drupal 7 is structured make that method obsolete.
