I'm an author in 3 or 4 online markets selling digital goods, I sell a lots of logos templates so I have started my own shop with woocomerce to focus on more on Item customizations but Im kind a stuck and I want to migrate to migrate Drupal because I think it´s the only way that I can achieve this.

Hello everybody, I have installed XAMPP 5.4 on my windows PC. Then downloaded the copy of Drupal into the webroot (C:\xampp). Please help me out in creating the database. What should be the name given to database (any particular format or name I should follow) and how I should do it.

Moreover, I have downloaded one Drupal template and want to build the site on the same theme with modification. Please help me how I can open the template on localhost

I have to migrate a website from wordpress over to drupal. The site is pretty light and it should be pretty straightforward. The only ting I am worried about is the slide on the homepage that has some kind of hover text, can se seen on the homepage http://www.bellesdemeuresenbois.com . Is there a slide module in drupal that allows something like that ? Thank you

Customer satisfactory portal?

I was looking at something like:

- users register and submit their experiences with companies
- companies are sorted through categories
- Some lists on homepage which show most positive and negative ones
- user categories
- official company reps who can reply to user rankings/cases to improve rating or just say thanks

I think you get it what I'm looking at. I've made dozens of portals with Joomla (I won't start now why that thing is bad) but have zero experience with Drupal.
