RSS Podcasting-Almost there? or there

Hello,

I am trying to set up a Podcasting community of instructors for a Community College. I want something that is convenient to the teachers for uploading their file and having their feed created for them on the server side.

Getting off on the right foot?

Hi - I was wondering if anyone could advise what would be the best starting approach for a "creative" community based site, broken up into various communities based on location? I'd like to feature location-centric content - making it easier for people in the same area to find others with similar interests.

From what I've gathered, the location module is required for this - which is produced by the same group that distributes CivicSpace/CiviCRM.

From what I can tell, CivicSpace seems to be based on 4.5 code, which seems very "old." Meanwhile, CiviCRM and the location module seem to be limited to 4.6.

Given I'm just sinking my teeth into this, I'd really like to go with 4.7, as it seems to be closing in on a release.

If anyone could offer any advice, it would be GREATLY appreciated. I've installed all 3 variations of Drupal in the past (CivicSpace standalone, 4.6 with CiviCRM, and 4.7). I was hoping, following the install, that I would have some insight into which would work best.

But I honestly couldn't understand the differences - and rather than going through the process of intensely examining each version, I was hoping someone who had more experience might shed some light.

And it may be that I'm completely incorrect in thinking that the location module is necessary - it just seemed like CiviCRM was the only package that would allow users to search by location.

Cancel account

I want to cancel my Drupal account, because I will not use it anymore in the future.
How can I do this?

Can Drupal support Content Edit and Approvals? or is there a Module for this?

I'm looking for a CMS for a College and Drupal looks fantatsic! The one key need they have is the ability to edit exsting content, and have a different user approve and post the content. This is because they may have a less qualified person do the actual text edits and will want a higher level administrator approve the preview before posting.

Can Drupal display pre-edit content, and have the next edit version held for approval? I don't see this mechanism? Is there a module to handle different levels of editing/publishing?

Thank you for any assistance.

Drupal CivicSpace distribution -> Tutorial, Handbook?

I want to select a CMS for an association. I'm not a programmer and I have a full-time job, I can get by modifying blog templates if I need to; but I'm really looking for a CMS that I can learn on my own, in my free time, without the need to know how to do programming, etc..

The context is explained here:

drupal crash on image upload larger then 100k

Hi.
I'm using drupal image module to upload images with GD2.
the problem is with images (jpg gif png) when larger then about 100k - gives a 404 page.
I tried it with other file extension (*.psd , *.raw) and even 2mb file is uploaded and set message like "drupal error: wrong extension".
I set all the drupal settings to high resolution large size file and no good. Its even more frustrating that I'm not getting any error message.
tnx.
